(Update 1/3/17): “Be Good, Take Care Of Yourselves… and DON’T LEAVE THE PATH!”

Much like a popular grey wizard, I have to leave this journey for a short time. But unlike Gandalf,  I won’t be annoyingly mysterious about it.

I mentioned in November that I have osteochondritis dissecans in my left knee. Well, if all goes well, I won’t have it for long… because I’m undergoing surgery tomorrow. I don’t know what the pain level will be post-operation, but I imagine the recovery will put a lot of my life on hold. No writing posts until further notice (with the possible exception of a few movie podcasts). Thank goodness I’m on Winter Break.

I should be back in time for the 2-year anniversary, but no matter what day I return, I will bring a surprise that will change this blog forever… depending on how long it lasts.

May all your travels through Mirkwood bring you more wine barrels and fewer spider webs with each crossing.
